A supremely peaceful yet vigorous practice, influenced by the sequences of Ashtanga Yoga. This class will connect breath with movement combining pranayama and physically challenging asana postures.
This a slower-paced class with longer holds, some pranayama breathing exercises and perhaps a seated meditation at the end. Hatha Yoga classes are a good place to work on your alignment, learn relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with doing yoga while building strength and flexibility.
Power Yoga is a dynamic vinyasa flow practice. An offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga, it has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction.
A slow paced yet deeply effective class that aims to release chronic tension by stretching the body's connective tissue and fascia.
Rather than using dynamic postures and heat, Yin Yoga will nourish and relax you into a state of bliss and comfort whereby the pain, tension and stress will literally clear and dissolve. This is the perfect class to balance your regular hot yoga practice.
Long Slow Deep
LSD experience is very profound. In this class we are challenged to push past our ego the one tempting us to quit, to notice the itch, to respond to the struggle, to huff, puff and pander to distractions. We are asked to play at our edge and a little past it whilst still enacting loving-kindness towards ourselves knowing how to challenge yourself whilst knowing when to ease back is a true test in self awareness, compassion and insight.
We spend every moment within the intense grip of very deep hip, hamstring and shoulder stretches for a very long time, in a very slow way. Your deep almost primal breath and journey into a place in your mind you don't often face.
